Secure Your E-Invoicing Journey With Biztrak e-Invoice Master Certificate

The Digital Certificate for E-Invoicing in Malaysia and the Benefits of the Biztrak e-Invoice Master Certificate

Digital transformation is reshaping businesses worldwide, and Malaysia is no exception. With the introduction of e-Invoicing under the guidance of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN), businesses are required to adhere to specific standards, including the use of digital certificates. This ensures the authenticity, integrity, and non-repudiation of e-invoices. Here’s everything you need to know about digital certificates for e-invoicing in Malaysia and why the Biztrak e-Invoice Master Certificate is your best option.

What is a Digital Certificate for E-Invoicing?

A digital certificate is a secure electronic credential issued by a trusted certification authority. It ensures that the e-invoice originates from an authorized source, maintains data integrity, and prevents unauthorized alterations. In Malaysia, the LHDN mandates the use of digital certificates for businesses issuing e-invoices to ensure compliance and security.

To meet these requirements, businesses can either subscribe to their own digital certificate, use an intermediary’s certificate, or opt for a master digital certificate provided by solutions like Biztrak.

Why Choose the Biztrak e-Invoice Master Certificate?

The Biztrak e-Invoice Master Certificate stands out as a reliable and cost-effective solution tailored to meet LHDN’s requirements while simplifying your compliance process.

Key Benefits:

1. One-Time Payment:

A single payment of RM500 + SST provides you with the Biztrak digital certificate.

No annual or bi-annual renewal fees required as long as you renew your annual maintenance contract with Biztrak - making it a budget-friendly choice.

2. Hassle-Free Maintenance:

Continued usage is guaranteed as long as you renew your annual maintenance contract with Biztrak.

Biztrak handles the yearly renewal of its own digital certificate and updates your server with the latest credentials.

3. Single Fee for Multiple Companies:

Unlike individual subscriptions, the one-time fee applies per software license package, not per company.

Perfect for businesses with multiple entities, reducing costs significantly.

4. Seamless Integration:

The Biztrak certificate supports all required LHDN digital certificate functions.

You can switch to your own digital certificate in the future if required, without disrupting operations.

5. Uninterrupted LHDN Validity:

Using Biztrak’s Master Certificate does not impact the validity of your LHDN ERP Client ID and Client Secret.

6. Future-Proof Option:

Should you wish to adopt your own digital certificate later, Biztrak provides a smooth transition process.

While owning your own digital certificate can be advantageous for businesses with extensive networks and shared systems, it comes with additional costs and complexities. Biztrak eliminates these hurdles, providing a streamlined, low-cost solution for most businesses.
