Tax Details & Tax Schedule

Tax Return Period
  • User definable taxable period according to your tax return period (From: To) which assigned by Director General.
Tax Point Rule
  • You can set up of tax point in delivery note transaction; it indicates supply has taken place (Time of supply). According to Malaysia Goods and Services Tax (GST), this will take place if the tax invoice is issued after 21 days of basic tax point and no payment has been received, then the time of supply is the date of the delivery note.
Source Code
  • Source code (or journal template) saves time and minimizes data-entry errors. When you group together related account codes and tax schedules under a source code, you can call up the source code in any of the relevant maintenance windows when you complete your transactions.
Item Pricing
  • Allow to set up item pricing list price and cost price either at Gross (Tax Exclusive) or Net (Tax Inclusive) of GST or SST. This set up includes Price Book maintain the current selling price for all stock items in the inventory that are available for sale; as well the customized price book which assigned to customer.
Transactions Related to GST Input/ Output Tax or SST Output Tax
  • Biztrak Financial and Distribution modules are fully integrated with Tax module. Fully integrated Financial, Distribution and Tax modules simplify the tax filling or GST/SST returns filling process for users and eliminate most kinds of tax reconciliation problems.
  • User-friendly Tax Entry screen allows you to view the tax entries that relate to particular transactions, and Journal Entry screen shows you the corresponding journal entries of a particular transaction including of output or input tax posting.
Tax Form Column Formula Setup
  • User defined tax formula setup allows flexibility to tag tax formula to Tax Submission Report – Malaysia GST -03 or SST-02, partial exemption formula i.e. De minimis rule (DmR) and Input Tax Recoverable Ratio (IRR).

IMPLEMENTATION METHODOLOGY

BIZTRAK employs a 10-stage implementation methodology as follows:

Phase 1 – Project Initiation

  • To confirm the project requirements in terms of time scale, scope and participants;
  • To agree on an implementation framework outlining the respective roles and responsibilities of BIZTRAK and clients;
  • Setting To set realistic expectations to ensure the success of the project

Phase 2 – Software Installation
  • To install and set-up of Biztrak MSB software into the client’s hardware platform.

Phase 3 – Project Team Training

Phase 4 – Business Requirement Mapping

  • At the end of this process, a skeleton system will be available for User Acceptance Test and End User Training.

Phase 6 – User Training
  • To introduce and educate users on the usage of Biztrak MSB which covers the scope and functionality of the system.

Phase 7 – User Acceptance Test
  • To ensure the delivered system to be is fully tested and signed off to client’s satisfaction.

Phase 8 – Data Migration
  • To ensure that all data from the existing system is properly converted and ready for migration to Biztrak MSB.

Phase 9 – Live Operation
  • A run a pre-defined live running phase will be run where careful monitoring of the system and its operation is undertaken.

Phase 10 – Post Implementation Review
  • To evaluate the achievement of the implementation by obtaining feedback and suggestions from the clients to appraise the ability of the system in meeting its specified objectives.
