A tax audit is an examination of your tax return by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRB) to verify that your income and deductions are accurate. There are two types of tax audits that can be carried out by the IRB, namely, desk audits and field audits. Anyone who has endured a tax audit knows how stressful it can be.
If you happen to be one of the lucky few who received a letter from the IRB for a tax audit, stay calm and understand that the investigation is a professional procedure that may be resolved by simply presenting the correct paperwork.
Join us on our upcoming webinar on Zoom which will take place on 12th April, from 10AM-12PM, where our legal and tax partner, Mr. Chin Nyook Chin, will share with you how to potentially handle a tax audit if you catch the attention of the IRB - and explain how to avoid a tax audit in the future.
The webinar is complimentary but registration is required. Register now and you will receive the Zoom link by email shortly after registering. If you do not receive an email from us prior to the event, please contact us by WhatsApp +6016-207 7529 or drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
