Biztrak Signs MoU with UCSI College
to Establish Cooperation in Higher Education

Kuala Lumpur, 20 June 2019 – Biztrak Business Solutions Sdn Bhd (Biztrak) has on today, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with USCI College at the college’s main campus in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, to establish cooperation in the field of higher education which is mutually beneficial to both parties.
 
The MoU was signed by Associate Professor Dr. Mabel Tan, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UCSI College and Jessica See, CEO of Biztrak, while witnessed by Associate Professor Dr. Chong, Vice President of Academic Affairs of UCSI College and Angie Tan, Marketing Communications Manager of Biztrak. Under the MoU, both Biztrak and UCSI College will further promote transnational education and increase the effectiveness of educational, methodological, and scientific research work.
 
This MOU is intended to explore the collaboration in the areas of internship, educational training and program development between Biztrak and USCI, which includes, but not limited to the following initiatives:
  • To explore avenues of incorporating Biztrak’s accounting software into the curriculum of the undergraduate and graduate programmes of UCSI College in areas of assessment, teaching and learning;
  • To equip relevant academic staff of UCSI College with the appropriate level of skills and knowledge of Biztrak’s accounting software through the provision of training and development; and
  • To explore internship opportunities and “real life” accounting experiences for UCSI College’s students with Biztrak.
Jessica See, CEO of Biztrak, said “We’re excited to form a collaboration with UCSI College, as we always believe that education plays an important role in providing young people with the necessary tools and knowledge, to make them successful in their future career.”
 
“This MoU will allow us to explore many areas of cooperation includes, the incorporating of our cloud-based accounting software into UCSI College’s undergraduate and graduate programmes, with aims to enhance the learning experience of the students and to equip them with real-world skills and professionalism they would need to be successful accountants immediately upon graduation”, she added.

SALES AND SERVICE TAX (SST) UPDATE (20 February 2019)

Sales and sERVICE TAX (sst) update (FOT TAXPAYERS AND NON-TAXPAYERS)

service tax amendments 2019

Please be informed that on 31st December 2018, Royal Malaysia Customs Malaysia has revised the Service Tax treatments where the exemption is applicable for service tax registered person in Group G who acquires taxable services under Group G item (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h) and (i) from another service tax registered person in Group G. The exemption is not applicable for taxable services under item (j) and (k) of Group G. The service tax exemption is effective 1st January 2019.
